The Path to Having a Healthy Lifestyle
If you’re like thousands or millions of other people around the world, you definitely want to lead and live a healthy lifestyle – and who doesn’t? Whilst most humans are already able to attain and enjoy this kind of lifestyle, there are also even more that are still looking and searching for ways to enhance and develop their health and well being. Here now are the top 5 elements in order to help you come up with a healthy lifestyle.
1. Enough sleep – without enough sound and quality sleep, our immune system would break or not work properly and it would be tough even just to get through the day. So getting a sufficient good night’s sleep could make a world of difference in how you feel and how you could perform on your work or do just about anything.
2. Water – lots of it! Staying completely hydrated throughout the day is vital, but by far water is the most essential drink out there. It might seem like a lot, but on the average, a human body must be consuming at least 8-10 glasses of H20 per day. Water could aid in cleaning one’s system out and keeps you energized, refreshed and replenish to keep you going.
3. A healthy diet is a must. Now this goes without saying-the food that a person eats on a day to day basis plays a big role in what kind of lifestyle one lives. There are actually a myriad of foods and diets you could put together to sustain a healthy lifestyle depending on one’s body. If you’re consuming mostly junk food every day, you are apparently not making the best diet there is. Nevertheless, the safest and the best path to take is to eat just a little from each and every food groups during each meal. This includes eating some fruits, veggies, meat, breads and even some snack goodies just once in a while.
4. Have fun and enjoy life – going out and having fun is very important since it helps alleviate the numerous stresses and pressures which we face and encounter on a daily basis. Having fun is absolutely something which most people never really consider when they’re trying to lead a healthy lifestyle. So why don’t you go to a nearby park to enjoy a nice and warm sunny day? Or if your schedule permits, try going out in a movie date with your friends once in a while. But if you’re more into relaxation, take a break from the hassles of the world and simply lie down or read a good book.
5. Exercise – whether it’s merely jogging, brisk walking, treadmill, lifting weights, yoga, aerobics, tae-bo, etc., any physical activity is a crucial component to one’s healthy living. The type or kind of exercise you perform and the duration would rely on your aims and targets. But just by going out and pumping those muscles a few times per week would help maintain a healthy body, raise your energy levels and uplift your spirits.

Healthy Lifestyle Change
Here is what I have learned about meshing the extreme athletic bodybuilding lifestyle together with the longevist/vegetarian/holistic lifestyle by focusing on making the inside healthy first, primarily by focusing on the acid/alkaline balance of my blood, since the release of The Healthy Lifestyle Coach Feb. 15, 2005.
My body composition stats on Feb. 15th, 2005:
Body Fat % = 7.6

Healthy Lifestyles of the Fit and Motivated
Can you remember what it was that lit the fire. When you first started to train, your enthusiasm was at a high that you had never experienced before. It could have been something as small as watching a movie that sparked your desire. On the other hand it may have been something like having someone close become ill, or incapacitated physically by something that could have been avoided by exercises, and having a good life, and healthy habits.
Whatever the case may be, you started a healthy lifestyle for good reasons. But it happens, after a while your interest may fade. You continue on just going through the motions and not seeing the results you thought you would have. I want to help you get your motivation and fire back.
Start to learn more about yourself, it will start you on your way to getting your motivation back to its peak. You must know what it is personally that has the potential to get you moving like you have a purpose. Take a personal inventory, and look at the positive things that have occurred since you started your training program. You may not see them at first if you are in a rut in your training, or emotionally. The results that you have experienced as a result of exercise, and good nutrition are going to be all positive.
Once you realize this and see the goals you have reached through your training, like reaching a certain number of reps in a set, or reaching a new one rep max you begin to get back on track. It may happen quickly for you, or you may have to meditate on it regularly. Whatever the case, it is worth practicing because it works.
There are other “smaller” things that work really well also. They will help you in a pinch because they are very easy to understand and apply. Think about some of your favorite inspirational quotes. It doesn’t matter where it comes from. It could be a movie, someone you look up to, or some of your favorite books. Where ever it comes from, try centering on it in between your sets. Don’t do this when you are in the middle of a set, you will need to focus on your lift.
Listening to some of your favorite music can really get you pumped up. There are times when I don’t like to listen to any music at all when I work out. There are other times though that music was the entire reason that I got going, and got revved up. To me music has the power to move you in all aspects of your life.
Reaffirm your goals and fitness lifestyle with this idea. Sit down with a piece of paper and write down in detail, what it is that you are going to accomplish through your training. Make sure you are very detailed. You want to be able to clearly visualize the end results of all your effort. Make sure you know where you are though, and know how far you have come. This is the proof that you need to continue to get the results you desire.
Everyone goes through tough times in their training. When you do bust out of a rut, your gains will come faster than you may have thought.
Leaving Obesity Behind by Taking on a Healthy Lifestyle
It is common knowledge that America’s obesity rates have increased dramatically over the years, and people are tending to the issue by turning to diet pills, diet books, and other unhealthy dieting routines. Diet is the key word here, and it will not solve the issue of obesity. One must make a change not through the use of dieting quick fixes, but through lifestyle changes that will not only improve the individual’s life, but his or her child’s life as well.
Your probably asking yourself, how do I make this a lifestyle change? Start by putting down the diet books, pills, or even shots for that matter and begin by evaluating your current lifestyle routine. Ask yourself, what does my current day to day routine consist of? What am I eating throughout the day? What am I doing to increase my physical appearance? Where do I spend too much of my time, where I would benefit more by squeezing in a two mile bike ride or run? All of these question are essential in determining where you are physically and mentally in your current day to day routine. To even think about changing your lifestyle habits, you must first evaluate where you are at to get where you desire to be.
Now that you know where you are at, its time to figure out where you want to be. Don’t determine where you want to be by calculating how much weight you want to lose or by the size jeans you want to fit into. The worst mistake a person can make when starting on this new, healthy lifestyle journey, is setting goals based on weight and clothing size. Once a person reaches the weight loss goals, he or she usually tends to forget about the lifestyle change and either goes back to his or her old ways, or starts to get out of control with dieting and not eating. Instead, start looking at the whole picture. Begin with your eating habits by asking yourself; What am I eating for breakfast? If it isn’t a healthy choice, make goals on how you can replace that meal for a healthier one. Now do the same for your snack in-take, lunch, and dinner in-take. Look at what foods you are putting into your body and start making goals on how you can make better choices that will lead to a healthier lifestyle.
Now that you have made goals for healthier eating routines, its time to talk about goals for your exercising habits. Start by taking the word workout out of your vocabulary and replace it with the word hobby. In order to make exercising something fun and enjoyable, you need to find something that you can consider a hobby. Face it, anyone can motivate themselves to work out if they find an activity that they like to do. To find an exercising hobby, try out as many exercising activities as possible to find the perfect fit for you. It may be running, cycling, swimming, or taking fun fitness classes like Zumba, but there is something for everyone you just have to explore all options until you find the right one. Once you find the right hobby for you, start making some goals.
The last step to dropping the dieting routines and making it a lifestyle change, is implementation. Anyone can make goals, but they don’t do anyone any good until he or she puts them into action. To stay on track, make weekly goals for yourself. When people realize that the diet pills, books, shots, and other dieting routines are not permanent and start taking on lifestyle changes, obesity will be defeated one person at a time. The last word of advice for a new you, healthy lifestyle change, is to stick with it. Whatever you do, don’t give up. So begin a new you by leaving your old habits in the past and making goals to implement in order to make a new, healthy lifestyle change.
